Mobile Ads
Does anyone really want to receive advertising on their mobile phone? Remember back when Internet access was dial-up — there were very few (if any) ads. Why? I think it was because bandwidth was too expensive and upsetting potential customers is not a good thing. Now that those of us in Australia can generally find a good, cost effective, broadband plan having advertising displayed on web sites isn’t such a problem. But on the tight-ass and generally too expensive mobile data plans here in Australia, if someone is going to send me ads, I don’t want to pay for it. Send me an ad on my mobile data plan, and I’ll send you the bill. Show me unlimited mobile data plans and I’ll be happy to take your ads.
